The Lipoprint Subfractions Buffer should be used as an electrolyte buffer solution in conjunction with Quantimetrix Lipoprint LDL (Cat. No. 48-7002) and Lipoprint HDL (Cat. No. 48-9002) reagent kits, and can be purchased separately.
The Lipoprint® Lipoprotein Subfractions Testing System analyzes all lipoprotein fractions and subfractions in fasting serum or plasma. Lipoprint uses high resolution polyacrilamide gel electrophoresis that separates and measures the amount of cholesterol in each LDL and HDL subfraction. The LDL kit is approved for clinical use. The HDL kit is intended for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
